Rosh Hodesh Nisan: Preparing for Pesach Beyond Your Kitchen!
March 14th:
- 9:30am Start the day with Hallel for Rosh Hodesh with Rav Claudia
- 10:00-10:45am 18 Minute Matzah-Baking Challenge w/ Farmer Noah Weinberg (at-home program for all ages and families)
- Join us for an 18-minute matzah baking challenge! Empower yourself with the knowledge to make your own matzah, and experience the simple magic of baking this ancestral staple.
- Note: The Matzah that you make might not be considered Kosher for Passover by traditional standards. This is an experiential, kitchen-based session that will require an oven heated at 500 degrees, so adult supervision is required for young people participating.
- Materials:
- Ingredients: Flour, water, salt
- Kitchen gear: Mixing bowl, measuring cups, fork, baking sheets, spatula, oven
- For children participating, adult involvement necessary as oven will be heated to 450-500 degrees.
- 11:00am-12:15pm Prepare for your Seder with Noam Zion from Jerusalem!
- Noam Zion is Senior Fellow Emeritus. He specializes in teaching Jewish Holidays, Bible, and art. He has written and edited numerous books, most famously “A Different Night: The Family Participatory Haggadah” and “A Night to Remember: The Haggadah of Contemporary Voices.”

Draw inspiration for your own study experiences and discover new ways to integrate Torah into your life experience, both in-person and online.

TBZ Community 2nd Night Zoom Seder
Sunday, March 28th at 7pm
Come together to celebrate the 2nd night of our Festival of Freedom featuring many TBZ community members and our rabbis. Our seder connects to the efforts of our committees during the year and celebrates our communal journey from our metzarim, our narrow places.
